Martini was named to the All-Tournament Team at the PAC Preview this past weekend at Saint Vincent College. The junior set the new Hiram program record with 10 total blocks in a 3-1 win over the Bearcats on Saturday. His six solo blocks in the game were also a program record for a single game. For the entire weekend, which saw Hiram go a perfect 4-0, Martini had 30 digs and 16 total blocks (1.33 b/s).

BEST OF THE REST: Geneva MB Carter Milroy had a strong opening week of the season, finishing with 66 digs (3.47 d/s) to go with 15 blocks (0.79 b/s) and five aces (0.26 sa/s), as he finished the week averaging 4.1 points per set...Hilbert MB Nick Diello was a beast at the net for the Hawks who went 2-0 in their season-opening weekend, averaging 1.0 block per set (7) after getting two solo blocks and four block assists against Russell Sage, he then added four kills (0 errors) (.667) in a 3-1 win over Wells...Thiel L Cameron Long recorded 42 digs (3.82 digs per set) last week, including 26 in the Tomcats' 3-2 come from behind win over Saint Vincent on Saturday...Carlow S/L James Stone averaged 2.40 digs per set last week and led the team with 24 total digs...Mount Aloysius L Corey Obeldobel led the Mounties in digs across two games this weekend, as he averaged 2.5 per set as his team would earn a 1-1 record, making just two errors on reception on 54 receptions, good for a .963 reception percentage average.
