BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona OPP Caleb Fries helped lead the Lions' attack in four matches last week, as he totaled 51 points (3.9 points per set), 41 kills (3.15 kills per set), eight service aces (0.62 aces per set), and four total blocks (0.31 blocks per set)...PS-Behrend RS Jack Wilcox tallied 36 kills in 10 sets of work this past week for the Lions, as he posted a season-high 18 kills, five digs and two blocks in a four-set win over St. John Fisher, then added 17 kills and 10 digs for the double-double against Buffalo State, for the week he registered 15 digs, seven blocks and four aces...Buffalo State MB Kaden Strong had an impressive weekend for the Bengals as they went 5-0 featuring a win over #10 Baldwin Wallace, he totaled 42 kills with a .349 attack percentage with seven services aces, five digs, and 20 total blocks, inclduing his best showing of a 13-kill performance against Penn State-Behrend for a big conference win...Mount Aloysius OH Brady Diegelman delivered a strong two-match stretch, totaling 20 kills on 61 attacks while averaging 2.86 kills per set, he was especially effective in the second match versus Wilkes with 11 kills at a 3.67 kills-per-set pace and added five total blocks over the two contests, finishing with 28.0 points and a steady presence in the Mounties’ attack...Carlow MH Gavin McLain averaged 2.33 kills per set against conference opponents this past week.
