OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Geneva MB Byron Spear had a career-high 22 kills (5.50 k/s), while hitting .364, in a four-set win over Penn State Altoona on Saturday. For the week he led Geneva to three AMCC wins, finishing with 44 kills (4.40 k/s) on a .309 hitting percentage, while adding 13 digs, four blocks and four aces. He averaged 5.0 points per set on the week.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend OH Dylan Buzalka had double-digit kills in two matches, finishing with 33 kills (2.75 per set) in a 3-1 week for the Lions, as he also added 27 digs and four blocks assists...Wells MB Billy McCrae played in his first two matches of the season this past weekend against Russell Sage College and was instrumental in the Express capturing their first two wins, as he combined for 19 total kills on a .471% while also tallying six digs and two blocks...PS-Altoona MB Jared Kish had a great day on Saturday in an AMCC tri-match, as he totaled 10.5 points on 10 kills and a block assist in the team's win over Mount Aloysius,  before finishing with 16 points on 16 kills in the Lions' four set loss to Geneva...Medaille OH Malachi Jackson had a strong match in the Mavs' only match of the week, as he averaged 5.25 kills per set hitting at .500 percent, while also totaling 21 kills, two aces, eight digs, and one solo block...Thiel OH Zac Smith recorded 11 kills and one service ace in the Tomcats loss to Penn-State Behrend on Tuesday, as he boasted a .269 hitting percentage and 3.67 kills per set...Hilbert OH Brad Converse led the Hawks offense this week hitting over .500 in loss to Medaille, notching 21 kills, averaging 3 kills per set, adding two blocks, an ace and 10 digs
