Fries continued to provide great offense for the Lions in a 1-1 week of AMCC play. In Friday night's four-set home win over Houghton, the sophomore finished with 20 points on 17 kills, two service aces, and two block assists, while also adding seven digs and two block assists. He followed that up with 13.5 points and a double-double on 12 kills, 10 digs, an ace, and a block assist during Saturday afternoon's three-set road loss at Penn State Behrend. On the week, Fries totaled 33.5 points (4.8 points per set), 29 kills (4.14 kills per set), three aces (0.43 aces per set), and three total blocks (0.43 blocks per set). He also compiled a .250 attack percentage.

BEST OF THE REST: Buffalo State OH Gavin Wilczewski had a pair of strong performances for Buffalo State as they remained unbeaten in AMCC play with wins over Hilbert and Penn State-Behrend, as he registered nine kills, eight digs, and a stellar .692 hitting percentage in the win over the Hawks, then in the win over Penn State-Behrend, he added another 14 kills with eight digs, and a .297 hitting percentage...PS-Behrend OH Cameron Schleicher averaged 3.25 kills and 1.75 digs per set for the Lions, he tallied a double-double with a team-high 15 kills and 10 digs vs. Buffalo State and also added five block assists vs. the Bengals, he then added 11 kills, four digs, three blocks and two aces against Altoona...Carlow MH Gavin McLain landed seven kills in a loss to Houghton Saturday, while also tallying five solo blocks on the day...Hilbert RS Justin Veal was efficient for the Hawks hitting .600 against Buffalo State while registering three kills, two aces, a dig and a block.
