BEHREND CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS SELECTED AS ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS
The Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s cross country teams earned U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) Division III All-Academic honors after achieving cumulative GPA’s of 3.24 and 3.37, respectively.
The Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s cross country teams earned U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) Division III All-Academic honors after achieving cumulative GPA’s of 3.24 and 3.37, respectively. In addition, Dylan Buffington and Jacob Parsons earned individual All-Academic awards.
Teams selected achieved cumulative GPA’s above 3.10 and scored in the NCAA championships. Buffington and Parsons were chosen for achieving above a 3.40 cumulative GPA and placing in the Top 25 percent of the NCAA Regional.
Both freshmen, Buffington and Parsons were selected to the NCAA Mideast Region All-Freshman Team for their Top Seven finish at the NCAA Regionals. Buffington was named AMCC Newcomer of the Year while Parsons finished second at the conference championship. Both were selected to the AMCC All-Conference squad.
