BEHREND, BUFFINGTON TAKE MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TITLES
Penn State Behrend claimed their 10th overall, and sixth consecutive, AMCC men's cross country title Saturday afternoon on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Penn State Behrend claimed their 10th overall, and sixth consecutive, AMCC men's cross country title Saturday afternoon on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
The Lions had the first three runners cross the finish line, including individual champion Dylan Buffington, who completed the 8K course in 28:09.45. Teammates Jake Parsons (28:24.17) and Ian Griffith (28:48.20) finished in second and third places, respectively.
Franciscan freshman Patrick Tansill crossed the finish line in 29:18.46 for fourth place and fellow Baron runner, freshman Matthew Crotteau, was right behind him in fifth place, finishing in 29:20.60.
The season will continue on November 12, at the NCAA Division III Regional hosted by DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.
