BEHREND MEN TAKE FIRST AT HOUGHTON INVITATIONAL
The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished first overall with a score of 27 to win the Houghton Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished first overall with a score of 27 to win the Houghton Invitational this Saturday afternoon.
The Lions, who have now won all three races this season, finished with five runners in the top 15. Junior Dylan Buffington led the way for Behrend, finishing first overall with a score of 25:53.9.
Houghton came in second pace with a score of 61 while Alfred State finished third with a score of 68. Roberts Wesleyan and Finger Lakes CC rounded out the top five with scores of 70 and 152, respectively.
Junior Jake Parsons came in behind Buffington, finishing second overall with a time of 26:52.3 and junior Ian Griffith finished fourth overall (27:23.2). Freshman Alex Kubala and senior Aaron Peters finished fourth and fifth for the Lions with times of 27:56.7 and 28:08.9, respectively.
