CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS SET FOR CHAMPIONSHIP MEET THIS WEEKEND
AMCC cross country teams will head to Greensburg, PA this weekend for the 2024 AMCC Men's Cross Country Championship.
AMCC cross country teams will head to Greensburg, PA this weekend for the 2024 AMCC Men's Cross Country Championship. The men's championship race kicks off on Saturday, November 2 at 12:00pm at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds.
Defending champion Penn State Behrend enters the meet looking for their 16th conference title.
Behrend SO Lucas Boyd has recorded the top 8k time in the AMCC this season, completing the Gettysburg College Invitational in 26:49.2. Alfred State College freshman Christian Wescott has the next best time, a 27:20.7 finish at the Mike Woods Invitational. Behrend SR Bennett Kerr holds down the third best time this season, as he ran the Fredonia Invitational in 27:31.5. After Kerr is Alfred State's Maxwell Knight with a time of 27:32.6 at the Mike Woods Invitational, and Behrend's Emil George rounds out the top five times with a 27:36.1 at the Gettysburg Invitational.
The women's race will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the men to follow at 12:00 p.m.

You must enter by the Red Overlys sign. DO NOT ENTER by the Fairgrounds sign, which google maps tries to take you to. You want to be on Fairgrounds Rd, NOT Blue Ribbon Rd.
