ALFRED STATE'S WESCOTT HEADLINES MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Alfred State College sophomore Christian Wescott has been named the 2025 AMCC Runner of the Year. Wescott was the first runner to cross the line at the 2025 AMCC Championship, coming in at 28:11.0. He finished the regular season being the first Pioneer to finish in every race but one. His top finish at the AMCC championship marked his career-best finish as he came in second at last year's championship meet. Earlier this season, Wescott set a new Alfred State program record as he crossed the finish line of an 8k race in 25:17.9. He was also named the AMCC Runner of the Week on September 8, 2025.

Penn State Behrend freshman Ethan Vaughan is the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Vaughan had two of the Top 15 times this season in the AMCC, leading the Lions with a time of 26:39.5 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble. At the championship meet, the freshman was first on the team and third overall in 28:21.5.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Penn State Behrend head coach Greg Cooper. Cooper led the Lions to their sixth straight and 17th overall conference title this fall.
