PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville OF Ashley Carney has had a stellar start to her career as a D'Youville Spartan. In four games this season (all last week), Carney is currently batting .727 with a .750 on base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage. In her first career collegiate game against Lawrence on Saturday, Carney went 4-4, including scoring two runs. She has a hit in all four games this season, two games of which were multi-hit games. She also has one stolen base and recorded one RBI with three runs, a double and a triple.

BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan INF Dennise Carrazco had at least one hit in seven of the Lady Barons' eight games, including a double in the first three games and also recorded five multiple hit games.
