PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona FR Emily Strouse had a sensational week in the circle for the Lady Lions, including recording her first career complete game shutout. Strouse posted a 4-0 record last week with two complete games and one shutout, pitching 29 innings and limiting the opposition to just four earned runs on 25 hits and just four walks. She struck out six batters. Strouse's ERA on the week was a stingy 0.97, and she allowed an opponent batting average of only .229.

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille P Laura Kratzke went 4-0 with a 2.16 ERA and striking out 37 batters, giving up just six earned runs in the four games, throwing four complete games including a complete game shutout against Pitt Bradford on Sunday...Hilbert SO Marisa McIntyre went 2-0 in the circle, recording two complete games and finishing the week with a 2.68 ERA, giving up 11 hits and eight runs in 15.2 innings, while also fanning five batters...PS-Behrend JR AJ Nichols picked up a pair of wins on the week, pitching 10.1 innings and striking out 13, allowing six hits and one earned run in a 6-1 win over Mt. Aloysius...Pitt-Bradford FR Jordan Uhing threw a gem Saturday to help the Panthers to a win against Penn State-Altoona Saturday, throwing a complete-game shutout while giving up just four hits...D'Youville P Alexa Haberer had a very strong week for the Spartans, helping them earn their first two conference victories, pitching 7.0 innings in game one against La Roche, allowing one earned run and striking out two in the 7-1 victory, and then coming in for relief during game two of the doubleheader to pick up the win with 3.2 innings, three hits and no earned runs to help the team win 5-4...La Roche FR Alexa Young went 2-2 with a 1.80 ERA in five appearances last week...Mount Aloysius SO Nina Shatzer made three appearances, throwing 11.0 innings, giving up three earned runs and striking out three for a 1.91 ERA.
