Langer got her Spartan career off to a hot start in Clermont, FL, beginning with the team's season opening 7-6 win over Juniata. Langer went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, and two stolen bases. Then on Friday in a 9-5 win against St. Lawrence, Jackie went 3-4 with two runs scored, three RBI, and her first career home run. She scored runs in four games last week and had two multi-hit games. She stole at least one base in four games, totaling five stolen bases on the week, while also adding five RBI and six runs scored. Langer currently ranks fifth in the AMCC with a .500 batting average.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SS Alexa Bupp hit .400 with six hits, six RBI and four doubles in four games this week, including back-to-back games with a pair of doubles, including in game one against Thiel to go with five RBI...Franciscan 2B Allyson Weiss went 5-for-7 with a run scored and an RBI, including going 5-for-5 on stolen bases along with a perfect day in the field with five assists and four put outs...PS-Altoona INF Meghan Marasti had an excellent showing in the Lady Lions' doubleheader against Saint Vincent College last Monday, as she batted 2-for-3 in game one and 3-for-3 with a double in game two, hitting .833 with a slugging percentage of 1.000...Pitt-Greensburg OF Alyssa Panza went 2-for-5 at the plate in the two games against Waynesburg, with a double and three RBI, as she went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI in the opening game and followed with a 1-for-3 performance with two RBI in the nightcap...Hilbert INF Hannah Prenoveau went 3-for-4 in Hilbert's solo game of the week, as her double in the 5th inning pulled the Hawks within one run and she was credited with one steal against Elmira.
