PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan OF Jenny Massey caught fire for the Lady Barons on their spring break trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. Massey hit .500 (13-for-26) in eight games, drove in seven runs and scored six times, while also going 3-for-4 on the base paths. She also recorded three doubles and two triples and was perfect in the outfield with four put outs. Massey struck out just once in 26 at bats.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius OF Samantha Smith hit .433 in her first collegiate action this week in Myrtle Beach, as she scored 11 runs and drove in four, while also collecting hits in 11 straight at bats during a three-game stretch...Pitt-Bradford SS Gabby Carpenter played nine games as the Panther shortstop in Florida, working a .333 batting average with three doubles, five RBIs and nine runs scored, while also being a part of two double plays defensively and earning a .923 fielding percentage...Pitt-Greensburg P/INF Brittany Dunn led the Bobcats in batting during their trip to Florida, positing a .423 batting average, with two doubles, four RBI, four walks, a .500 on-base-percentage, as well as a .500 slugging percentage...D'Youville INF/OF Megan Meyer has had an impressive start to her season in the field and at the plate, as she has tallied at least a hit in all four games this season, adding a run and three RBI, while only striking out once through 13 plate appearances...Medaille INF Mercedes Sulzbach had a great week in Myrtle Beach, hitting .394 with four RBI and drawing three walks, finishing the spring trip with a .444 on-base percentage and a .485 slugging percentage, earning at least one hit in all but one of Medaille's 10 games...La Roche SS Alexis Medva hit .533 (8-for-15) with seven RBI, four runs, three doubles, and three walks in six games.
