PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan 2B Allyson Weiss led the Lady Barons to a 4-0 week in two crucial AMCC sweeps for the Lady Barons. Weiss posted 10 hits in 16 at-bats for a .625 batting average. The sophomore scored nine runs while driving in eight - including four in the victory over Hilbert. Weiss had five extra base hits including three home runs. Weiss was perfect in the field with nine put outs and six assists.  She was 1-for-2 on the base paths and did not strike out in 17 plate appearances.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona C Jess Willits had a great week with the bat and the glove for the Lady Lions last week, as she hit .438 (7-for-16) with two doubles, two runs scored, two RBI, and one walk, while also going perfect behind the plate, recording 14 putouts, notching one assist, and throwing out one base runner...PS-Behrend C/INF Mackenzie McIntire appeared in all four games for the Lions this week, tallying eight hits, four runs, and one RBI, including three doubles against D'Youville, and finishing the week with a .571 batting average...Pitt-Greensburg P/INF Brittany Dunn batted .538 for the Bobcats in the four games played this past week, as she went 7-for-13 at the plate, with a run, two doubles, and knocked in five RBI, while also posting a .600 on-base-percentage and slugging .692 on the week...Hilbert OF Maia Delaney had a monster week for the hawks in three starts, going 5-for-9 at the plate with an average of .556, including one double, two walks, three stolen bases, and four runs scored herself...Pitt-Bradford SS Gabby Carpenter hit .471 with three multi-hit games and two three-hit games to power Pitt-Bradford to a 4-0 week, she scored five runs -- including all three of the team's runs in game two at Penn State-Altoona Saturday -- and drove in four runs...D'Youville OF Ashley Carney had another outstanding week for the Spartans, as she tallied seven hits through 15 at-bats for a .467 average, including a 3-for-4 performance in their victory over previously unbeaten Behrend...Medaille INF Abby Nicometi had a very good week for the Mavericks hitting .429 with six total hits and five runs scored...La Roche 2B Devan Smith walked it off with a two-run eighth inning double to beat D'Youville, as she finished the week hitting .313 with three RBI, three stolen bases, two doubles, and a run...Muont Aloysius P/INF Emily Cochran hit .500 in a 2-2 week for the Mounties, as she went 2-for-3 in the win over Juniata on Thursday and 2-for-4 in the loss to Penn State Behrend over the weekend.
