In Saturday's sweep of Pitt-Greensburg, Uhing started the day by putting up a 0 in the 8th inning to earn a save in game one, and then allowed two runs on five hits in another complete-game victory. Last week, Uhing totaled 21 innings pitched, allowing only two earned runs. She struck out 21 batters, allowed 10 hits and only one walk. Her ERA for the week was 0.67.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend JR Ashleigh Schmidt appeared in all four games for the Lions, with two appearances on the mound, as she tallied two conference wins, one over Alfred State and one over Hilbert, pitching a total of 11 innings and tallying 17 strikeouts and finishing the week with a 2.55 ERA and a 10.82 k/7...La Roche SR Alexa Young pitched two complete games and went 2-0 on the week in wins over Alfred State and Hilbert, as she struck-out 15 batters, walked just three and allowed only two earned runs in 17.1 innings of work, recording a 0.81 ERA in four appearances...PS-Altoona SO Casey Reese appeared in the circle in all four games for the Lions last week, including making two starts, one of which was a complete game victory, she pitched 16 1/3 innings, struck out 10 batters, and compiled a 2-1 record with a 4.29 ERA...Hilbert FR Rebecca Marmorato came in in relief to hold off La Roche in Hilbert's win.
