Casey Reese, Penn State Altoona, Softball (Pitcher)

Reese started her 2022 season with a pair of starts during The Spring Games against UMass-Dartmouth and Capital. In a loss to UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday, the junior pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed four earned runs while striking out three. In Sunday's victory over Capital, the right-hander pitched a complete game and allowed no earned runs while striking out three more batters. On the week, Reese pitched 10 1/3 innings and went 1-1 with one complete game and a 2.71 ERA.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Ashleigh Schmidt earned her first win of the season in an 11-3 win over Sage. She pitched five innings and struck out three, while allowing three runs.
