PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg SO Melanie Mienke pitched 13 innings over this past week, striking out 19 batters and earning a win against Hilbert in game two of the double header on Sunday. She had an era of 3.23 in the two games combined.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius FR Jessica Koptcho led Mount Aloysius to a crucial sweep to open AMCC play, tossing a complete game in a 5-4 victory against Pitt-Bradford. The freshman threw all 8.0 innings and allowed four runs, while striking out five batters.
