Anna Peterman, Mount Aloysius College, Softball (Player)

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius UTIL Anna Peterman played a huge part in the Mounties' 4-0 week, hitting an eye-popping .778 and slugging 1.444. The sophomore hit the first two home runs of her career, while also driving in eight total runs. She went 7-for-9 and picked up two or more hits in all three games she played in. In the Mounties' doubleheader sweep of Pitt-Greensburg, Peterman went 5-for-5 with a homerun and five RBIs. She currently leads the AMCC in hitting, batting .489 overall and .591 in conference play.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona UTIL Cam Feathers continued her excellent season at the plate during a 4-0 week of AMCC play for the Lions, as she hit .583 (7-for-12) with five RBI, four runs scored, three stolen bases, two walks, one double, and one triple, she posted a .643 on-base percentage and slugged .833, and in the field, she finished with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage...PS-Behrend 3B Jocelyn McNany drove in 10 runs on nine hits, while scoring five in a 5-3 week for the Lions, as she also added two triples, two home runs and a double...Pitt-Greensburg 2B/OF Kayla Santucci had a huge weekend against Behrend where she had six hits, half of them being extra base hits; Overall, she had eight hits on the week and had a .500 batting average, as she drove in eight runs, five of them coming in the win against Behrend, while also scoring three runs...Pitt-Bradford OF Rachel Przybysz hit .500 for the Panthers this week, while also reaching base at a .625 clip, as she tallied three hits in six at-bats and drew a pair of walks, while also playing flawlessly in right field over the four games...Hilbert 1B Bailey Budziszewski added another extra base hit while continuing to play outstanding defense at first base.
