LA ROCHE SELECTED TO DEFEND AMCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TITLE

Pitt-Greensburg senior Guard Kayla Dames has been selected as the AMCC Women's Basketball Pre-Season Player of the Year. Dames was a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2013-14 after leading Pitt-Greensburg in scoring (13.2 ppg), rebounds (6.0 rpg), steals (43), blocks (37) and minutes played (29.6 mpg). She finished the season ranked second in the AMCC in blocks, eighth in scoring, and 12th in total rebounds.
The AMCC Championship will be held Saturday, February 28 at the site of the number one seed, with the winner earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
