HILBERT'S ROGERS LEADS NATION IN DOUBLE DOUBLES

Four weeks into the 2015-16 women's basketball season, the AMCC has an impressive number of athletes and teams ranking in the top 10 in Division III national statistics.
Leading the way is Hilbert sophomore forward Shannon Rogers who tops the nation in double doubles with 9. Rogers has been a force on the boards all season, as she also ranks second with 11 defensive rebounds per game and is seventh with 123 total rebounds. Penn St. Behrend sophomore forward Dani Reinwald is currently fifth with 7 double doubles. Rogers' teammate, Hilbert freshman forward Katelyn Proy, has 33 blocked shots on the year, good enough for eighth nationally.
La Roche college boasts two players who rank in the top ten in points per game. Junior forward Tichina Mitchell, the current USBWAA National Player of the Week, ranks second nationally with 23.9 points per game, while junior guard Sabrina McLin is 10th with 22.3. Mitchell ranks sixth with 77 field goals made.
Pitt-Bradford senior guard Abby Brate is fourth in the nation with 56 total assists and is ninth with 6.2 assists per game.
