The final AMCC women's basketball Game of the Week features 8-7 Mount Aloysius College at 9-7 Pitt-Greensburg.
The Mounties have won two games in a row, clinching their second consecutive AMCC Tournament appearance. They have had a resurgence and gone 7-3 in their last 10 contests. They feature four players that average in double figures, led by freshman F Molly Kosmack, who is currently ranked second in the league in both points per game and rebounds per game, while also leading the AMCC in field goal percentage (63.0) and blocked shots (55). The other three in the quartet are freshman G Annalyn Isaacs (11.5 ppg), sophmore G Jade Love-Morris (11.1 ppg) and Angelina Kohlwaies (10.6 ppg), all of whom have had 20-point games this season. The Mounties are looking to finish with their first winning record in AMCC play since the 2017-18 season.
The Pitt-Greensburg women’s basketball team is coming into the AMCC Game of the Week jockeying for playoff seeding in the AMCC Tournament. The Bobcats, led by reigning AMCC Player of the Week Melina Maietta are coming in winners of four of their last six and looking to avenge a loss to Mount Aloysius earlier in the season. The Bobcats defeated Hilbert in the team’s last game. Pitt-Greensburg has won seven of the last eight matchups with the Mounties.
Mount Aloysius won the first meeting of the season against the Bobcats, 81-73.
