LA ROCHE TO FACE BALDWIN WALLACE IN NCAA FIRST ROUND MATCHUP
The La Roche University women's basketball team will battle Baldwin Wallace University on Friday, March 7 at 6:30pm in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament held at Baldwin Wallace in Berea, OH.

BW will also host the first-round game between an at-large bid from the Skyline Conference, the United States Merchant Marine Academy (N.Y.) (24-2), and an at-large bid from the Old Dominion Athletic Confernce, Washington & Lee (Va.) University (24-4) at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 7. The Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds of the tournament will take place on March 14-15 at a host institution yet to be determined while the 2025 NCAA Division III Final Four will be held in Salem, Virginia from March 20-22.
The Redhawks (22-5) earned an automatic bid by virtue of their 2025 AMCC Tournament championship. La Roche defeated Mount Aloysius College 76-59 in the semifinals and then downed top-seeded Penn State Behrend in the title game, 67-55.
Baldwin Wallace also earned an automatic bid to the national tournament, claiming the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament Championship with a win over Ohio Northern University.
La Roche is led offensively by senior G/F Alexis Robison who averages 15.3 points per game, while senior forward Dasja Anderson averages 13.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Junior guard Jazmine Dunn contributes 11.3 points and and AMCC-best 5.8 assists per game.

The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team earned the program's 15th bid to the 2025 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships, announced on Monday.
The No. 2 Lions (21-6) will host the four-team pod this weekend in the Junker Center. No. 1 McDaniel (17-9) will face No. 4 Alvernia (13-12) in opening game of the first round at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Behrend will take on No. 3 Allegheny (18-8) in the second game at 3 p.m. The two quarterfinal winners will square off on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Lions made their last ECAC Division III Tournament appearance in 2022-23. That year, Behrend fell to Alvernia 80-67 in the first round.
Behrend is coming off a 67-55 loss in the AMCC Championship game to the La Roche Redhawks, while the Gators fell in the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) semifinal game to Chatham, 57-45.
The Lions won the ECAC Championship in 1991-92 and in 1995-96.
