AMCC UNVEILS 2025-26 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTIONS
La Roche University senior guard Jazmine Dunn has been named the AMCC Women's Basketball Player of the Year. Dunn, a three-time all-conference selection, put together a career-best season for the Redhawks. She finished the regular season averaging a career-high, 20.1 points, which led the AMCC this season and currently sits tied for eighth all-time in the AMCC record book. She is the first player to average more than 20.0 points per game in the confernce since 2018-19. Her 41.6% shooting sits 10th in the conference, while her 39.1% shooting from three and her 85% from the foul line are both second-best. Dunn's 4.9 assists leads the AMCC by a full assist per game, while she also contributed 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 steals (4th AMCC). In AMCC play, Dunn averaged a league best, 20.2 points, shot 42.6% from the floor and 40% from three, while adding 5.8 rebounds and a league best 6.1 assists, while also chipping in 2.9 steals per game.
La Roche sophomore guard J'La Kizart has been tabbed the Defensive Player of the Year. Kizart put together one of the more impressive defensive seasons in 2025-26 in recent years, as she is the only player in the AMCC to rank in the top five in rebounding, steals and blocks in AMCC and full season play. Kizart put together an overall stat line of 10.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 4.6 steals and 0.8 blocks. In AMCC play, her stat line reads, 12.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 5.6 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. Kizart entered the postseason with 116 steals, placing her fourth on he AMCC all-time single season steals list and its the most in a single season since 2017-18. Her 116 steals also rank her third in NCAA DIII this season. Her overall, 4.64 steals per game currently sits third all-time in AMCC history, the highest per game output since 2006-07, and is fourth in all of NCAA DIII this season. On the boards, she finished the regular season eighth overall with 7.0 and in AMCC play, her 8.4 rebounds with tied for fifth. Kizart's 0.8 blocks per game overall and 19 total blocks both rank fifth, while her 0.9 in AMCC play is tied for fifth and her 14 blocks in AMCC play is also fifth. Lastly, Kizart had the first triple-double by an AMCC player since Dec. 2012, a 21 point, 10 assist and 10 steal afternoon.
Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Penn State Altoona freshman guard Lanie Wilt, after she put together an excellent freshman season for the Lions. In the AMCC, she ranked fourth in points per game (16.2), free throws made (87), assists (84), and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8). She also ranked fifth in points (372), sixth in points per 40 minutes (20.3), three-point percentage (30.2) and free throw percentage (76.3). Wilt was named the AMCC Player of the Week on February 9 after powering the Lions to a 3-0 conference record on the week, averaging 20.3 points, 3.3 steals, 3.3 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game during that stretch.
In just her first year at the helm, La Roche head coach Lexi Griggs has been named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Griggs led the Redhawks to a 14-2 conference record and the #2 seed in the AMCC tournament.
