PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  La Roche College sophomore guard TiChina Mitchell had a record-breaking week for La Roche as the Lady Redhawks improved to 4-0 in the AMCC. She finished with 22 points in an 88-61 win over Mt. Aloysius before scoring a school-record 40 points in a 102-50 victory over D'Youville. Mitchell connected on 25 of 38 shots from the field (65.8%) including 12 of 13 three-point attempts.  She also contributed 5.5 rpg and 4.0 spg.  Mitchell currently leads the conference at 23.9 points per game.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SO F Dani Reinwald averaged a double-double (15.5 points, 17.0 rebounds) in a 1-1 week for the Lions, boosting her season total to 7 in 8 games…Franciscan SO G Sarah Schriner led the Lady Barons with a season-best 18 points, shooting 41.2% while recording 3 assists and 2 steals in a loss to Hilbert…Mt. Aloysius JR G Antwayne’ Parks averaged 11.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week vs. conference opponents… Medaille SO G MarceAnn Dunning had a solid week for the Lady Mavs, averaging 19.5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 2 losses for the Lady Mavs…Hilbert FR F Katie Proy recorded a double-double with 14 points on 7 of 8 shooting and pulled down 11 rebounds in Hilbert's win over Franciscan…PS-Altoona SO F Shannon Zimmerman stood out for the Lady Lions in a 1-1 week of AMCC play, averaging 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 assists…Pitt-Greensburg SO F Sylvia Stuart was a dominant force in the Bobcats’ 69-60 victory over rival Pitt-Bradford, pouring in 20 points to go with 5 boards and a pair of blocks.
