Sayles helped lead the Lions through a three-game week of non-conference action. In a loss at Division II Lock Haven on Thursday night, she scored 14 points and added five rebounds. In the first game of the Mountain Valley Tip-Off Classic on Saturday against Rose-Hulman, the freshman recorded her first collegiate double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds to go along with three steals. In Sunday's victory over Keuka in game two of the Classic, she had another double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds while recording three steals. On the week, Sayles averaged 18.7 points per game, 9.0 rebounds per game, and 2.0 steals per game. She was also named to the All-Tournament team for the Mountain Valley Classic.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend G Madilyn Boyer shot 60.9 percent from the floor and averaged 19 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals in a 1-1 week for the Lions, as she tallied a season-best 22 points behind 72.7 percent shooting in the win over Chatham...Alfred State G Jenna George scored 14 points in the Alfred Classic game, giving the Pioneers a jolt with a strong first quarter and leading the team to their first win of the season with a 51-46 win over Cazenovia.
