Carr hit her 1,000th career point in a decisive 74-55 win over Franciscan Saturday. In their first game of the week, a narrow one-point loss to Waynesburg, Carr recorded 19 points, six rebounds, four steals and a block. On Saturday, in the win over Franciscan, she scored 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out six assists while adding five steals and another block. The 5'4" guard averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds 4.5 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.0 block per game as the Celtics went 1-1 on the week.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius F Molly Kosmack averaged 18.0 points and 12 rebounds per game, while helping the Mounties win two of their first three, as she recorded 21 points and 12 boards in a win against Wilson, she then scored 15 points and had eight rebounds in a loss to York before finishing up the weekend with an 18-point, 16-rebound double-double against Notre Dame (Md.) and was named to the Coaches vs. Cancer All-Tournament team...PS-Altoona F Avana Sayles had a strong week for the Lions in a trio of non-conference games, as she turned in a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds in Monday night's loss at Juniata, she then had 14 points, five rebounds abd two steals in a win at Lycoming, then rounded out the week with 26 points, five rebounds and two steals in a loss at USCAA opponent Penn State Beaver on Friday night...Pitt-Bradford G/F Paige Gratto averaged 17.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game last week, as she scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while also tallying three assists in the home opener against Keuka...PS-Behrend G Morgan Altavilla averaged 15.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Lions, as she added 16 points in the win over St. John Fisher and then posted 14 points against Chatham, registering her 1,000th career point off a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter...La Roche G Jazmine Dunn had a solid all-around week for the Redhawks, as she scored 13 points to go alongside six rebounds against Ferris to open the weekend, she followed that in Sunday's victory over Adrian with a stat line of 11 points, six rebounds, six assists and a steal, for an average of 12 points, six rebounds and 3.5 assists per game...Alfred State F Sarah Somers scored 38 points in three games last week while shooting 44.1 percent from the field, as she opened the week with a 10 point game against Cobleskill, then after suffering an early injury against Delhi, she followed with a 24 point and eight rebound game against Alfred University
