Host Mount Aloysius College swept all three matches on day one of the second AMCC quad match of the season to take a commanding lead in the two day event held at Holiday Bowl in Altoona, PA.

The Mounties were led by freshman Katie Gales who averaged 188.3 (207-191-167) for the three game series to lead all competitors.

Medaille College went 2-1 for second place, followed by AMCC defending champion Pitt-Bradford at 1-2 and Penn St. Altoona at 0-3.

Competition continues on Sunday when the event changes to a Baker format.

The AMCC championship will be held February 7-9, also at Holiday Bowl, hosted by Penn St. Altoona.
