The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford's women's bowling team has been recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association for an outstanding year in the classroom.

The Panthers finished the 2014-15 academic year with a team GPA of 3.2
In order to be considered for team recognition, programs must have had a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 for the 2014-15 school year.
Just 21 teams across the NCAA's three divisions were recognized.
It is the second time this year Head Coach Andy Spring's Panthers have been recognized for their success in the classroom, as Sarah Foley, Erin Fagan, Jael Joaquin and Amanda Stady were named NTCA All-Academic honorable mentions in June.
In addition to Pitt-Bradford's success in the classroom, they also excelled on the lanes, winning their second straight AMCC Championship. Foley was also tabbed AMCC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
