The Mavericks recorded wins over Pitt-Bradford, New Jersey City University and Mount Aloysius College. They lost just four games en route to the crown.
Medaille entered the tournament as the #2 seed, but bowled like the defending champions they are. In their first win over the top seeded Mounties, the Mavs rolled to a 4-1 decision. In the fifth game of the match, Medaille struck out the first six games, spared the next two and struck out the last two to leave no open frames in a 246-163 victory.
In the championship game vs. Mount Aloysisus, the regular season champions and #1 seed, Medaille again jumped out to a substantial 3-0 lead, yielding in game four but closing out the match with a 198-137 victory and the team title.
