BOWLERS SET FOR AMCC CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

AMCC bowlers will hit the lanes this weekend for the 2022 AMCC Bowling Championship Tournament at Sim's Lanes in Beaver Falls, PA. First round play will open up on Friday morning with #4 Penn State Behrend taking on #5 La Roche University, and #3 Pitt-Bradford facing off with #6 Mount Aloysius College. #1 Saint Vincent College and #2 Medaille College will each receive first round byes.

Saint Vincent enters the tournament as the top seed with a 14-2 conference record. Sophomore Monique Koehler leads the conference with a 203.3 traditional format average, while also carrying a 17.61 Baker average. Freshman Sabine Strickland leads the Bearcats, and the AMCC, with a 19.69 Baker average. 

With a 13-3 record, defending AMCC champion Medaille College has earned the #2 seed. Junior Sarah Radt leads the Mavericks with 181.0 traditional average and ranks second in the conference with a 19.30 Baker average. Mackenzie Smith ranks second for the Mavs with a 177.4 traditional average. 

Pitt-Bradford, with an 11-5 record in conference play, comes into the tournament as the #3 seed. Sophomore Brookelyn Garvey leads the Panthers, and ranks second in the AMCC, with a 182.8 average in traditional play, while ranking third in the conference with an 18.88 Baker average. Junior Jordyn Graham ranks second for Pitt-Bradford with a 179.6 traditional average.

Penn State Behrend enters as the #4 seed with a 9-7 conference mark. Sophomore Bella Pilyih tops the Lions with a 165.4 traditional average, while freshman Reegan Malis leads Behrend with a 17.69 Baker average. 

La Roche has earned the #5 seed with an 8-8 mark in conference play. Freshman Winter Brown leads the Redhawks with a 189.5 average in traditional play and a 16.13 Baker average. Sophomore Ashley Kennedy carries a 176.0 traditional average and a 17.2 average in Baker play.

Rounding out the field is #6 Mount Aloysius with a 6-10 conference record. Junior Megan Weaver leads the Mounties with a 17.44 traditional average, while also carrying a 16.28 Baker average. Junior Kaitlyn Klein has recorded a 169.4 traditional average and a 17.85 Baker average.
