The NCAA has announced the 2021-22 Bowling Championship Bracket. With their automatic bid from winning the AMCC Championship, the Medaille College bowling team will travel to the Erie Regionals to face their first round opponent, Mount St. Mary's.
This is the Mavericks' fifth NCAA appearance in a row. Last year, the team beat reigning champs, Nebraska, in the first round of the tournament. The Mavs beat Saint Vincent College in the AMCC Championship after battling their way out of the losers' bracket. Kendyll Jaskier, Taylor Strickland, and Sarah Radt led the way on the day to help bring the Mavericks their victory.
The last time Medaille and Mount St. Mary's faced off was back in 2018. They competed early in the season in October. Mount St. Mary's eventually grabbed the win 1024-908. The Mavericks look to go even further than their run last year.
The team will travel to Columbus, OH on Friday, April 8. The first round will begin at 9:00 a.m.
