SAINT VINCENT IN LEAD AFTER DAY ONE OF ROUND ROBIN

After Day 1 of the first AMCC Women's Bowling Round Robin of the season, Saint Vincent College sits in first place with a 4-0 record.
The Bearcats started the day with an 896-654 win over Pitt-Greensburg, followed by a tight 868-863 triumph over defending AMCC Champion William Smith College. Saint Vincent continued their winning way with a 906-807 victory over Penn State Behrend before finishing the day one sweep by defeating Pitt-Bradford 972-842.
William Smith, Pitt-Bradford, and Penn State Behrend are in a three-way tie for second place, while Pitt-Greensburg, Alvernia University, and Hilbert College are all tied at 1-3 for fifth place. Rounding out the field is La Roche University, who went 0-4 on day one.
Bowlers will return to the lanes Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. to complete the second half of the AMCC Round Robin event.
