However, it is Saint Vincent with the 13-1 overall record from both Round Robins combined, that gives the Bearcats the regular season title and top seed in the AMCC championship tournament.
William Smith dropped their second match of the tournament, a 862-775 defeat to Penn State Behrend, but was able to pull out the victory in their other six matches to go 6-1 on the weekend. Their biggest victory came on Sunday when they defeated Saint Vincent 940-922, giving them the head-to-head edge over the Bearcats and finishing first on the weekend. The Herons were led by senior Michaela Morgan with 184.0 average, including a single-game high 222 against Alvernia, as she finished third out of all AMCC bowlers.
Saint Vincent, with a 6-1 record this weekend, and a 13-1 record overall from the two events combined, has earned the top seed for the conference tournament in March. The Bearcats were led on the weekend by freshman Brooke Street, who led all bowlers on the weekend with a 200.57 average. Street recorded a high game of 245 against Penn State Behrend. Saint Vincent's Sabine Strickland finished second on the weekend with a 186.86 average.
Saint Vincent's Skyy Nicholls and Pitt-Bradford's Mackenzie Gill rounded out the top five bowlers on the weekend, with averages of 182.00 and 180.29, respectively.
