Fortunato led New Jersey City University to its most successful day in years, finishing in first place on day one of the AMCC Round Robin #1. Fortunato finished first overall in the individual standings in a field of 32 bowlers. She had a five-game pinfall of 977 (212-186-194-180-205) for a 195.40 average, and was 105 pins ahead of second place. Fortunato, the NJCU anchor, tossed two of the day's three 200 games bowled - 212 against PS-Altoona and a 205 in the bye fifth game.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius SO Jessica Bello led the Mounties to a first place finish in the AMCC Round Robin tournament by rolling a single game high of 193 (164 average in team match format) and averaged 17.2 during Baker matches on Sunday...Medaille SO Taylor Reese had a 180.83 average on the week in team matches and a 16.38 Baker frame average over 47 frames of work; her 180.0 average in AMCC action was second-best in the conference.
