BOWLER OF THE WEEK: La Roche SR Ashley Kennedy placed 2nd at the Mountie's Roundup in Altoona, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team averaging 186.8 with a high game of 209. Her performance helped the team to a 3rd-place finish for the weekend.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Kennedie Lauver had a strong weekend for the Lions in the two-day Mid-State Mountie Classic. On Saturday, in four traditional team matches, the freshman dropped 702 pins for an average of 175.5 per game. She also set a new Penn State Altoona record for traditional format high score, rolling 234 versus Mount Aloysius. On Sunday, in two best-of-seven baker matches, she posted a team-best 18.88 baker average.
