Ilges finished in third place in the 197 lb. weight class with 13.0 team points in the ECWC Championships, receiving All-ECWC honors for the third time. In the quarterfinals, Ilges won by tech fall over his Brockport opponent (TF 17-2) before falling to returning All-American Chibueze Chukwuezi by tech fall. In the consolation round, Ilges won by decision over his Oswego opponent (Dec 6-4) and for the third place match he won by decision over his Ithaca counterpart (Dec 6-3).
