Then in the semifinals, he tallied another first round fall, this time in 1:41 over Ryan Weitz (Baldwin Wallace). In the finals, Malenfant notched a 6-3 decision win over Hunter Lowe (Wilkes) to claim the title.

BEST OF THE REST: Penn College FR Nicholai Brotzman closed out Penn College's dual against #14 Alvernia on Friday by pinning Brian Czaus in 1:36. It was his team-leading 15th pin against D-III opponents (16 overall) and his 11th first period fall of the season...Hiram SR Seth Holt picked up his fourth win at home this season, improving his record at Price Gymnasium to 4-2 in 2023-24. The senior beat W&J's Jiovanni DeChicchis by technical fall (16-1) on Friday night to score his team five points.
