Perry (197) bounced back after suffering a loss in his opening match, as he followed with a 10-4 decision win over Nathan Coon (St. John Fisher). After notching back-to-back falls over Judson Ferris (St. John Fisher) in 2:28 and Geoffry Kaminsky (Ohio Wesleyan) in 2:43, he earned a spot in the third-place match. In that match, he took a 5-3 decision win over Simon Lingle (Brockport) for third place, as he went 4-1 on the day.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State SO Brent Perry (197) bounced back after suffering a loss in his opening match, as he followed with a 10-4 decision win over Nathan Coon (St. John Fisher). BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend FR Rudy Brown improved to 15-0 in dual-meet action with a 22-7 technical fall at 157 against Chance Kimmy of Gannon. It marked the third tech. fall for Brown this season.
