With nine first place votes, Penn State Behrend is the strong favorite selected by AMCC coaches to successfully defend their 2014 AMCC title. Pitt Bradford was voted to finish second and Franciscan University likely to take third.
Penn State Behrend junior forward Alex Bilka was tabbed as the 2015 AMCC Pre-Season Offensive Player of the Year. Bilka was a 2014 first team all-conference selection, while also being named to the All-Great Lakes Region second team. She was third in the AMCC in goals in 2014 with 15, third in points (38), and fourth in assists (8).
The AMCC championship will be held November 7 at the site of the highest remaining seed, with the winner earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
