AMCC WOMEN'S SOCCER GAME OF THE WEEK: LA ROCHE @ HILBERT
The Hilbert College women’s soccer team is literally on a roll after jumping out to an 8-2 overall and an unblemished 3-0 league record as they continue to stretch their eight-game win streak. On Tuesday, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America released the Week 4 national polls and ranked Hilbert #10 in the Great Lakes region. The La Roche College women’s soccer team enters this weekend’s game at 6-4 and a perfect 3-0 in conference. Longtime head coach Miguel Lozano will be looking for his milestone 200th career win this weekend.

The La Roche College women's soccer team enters this weekend's game at 6-4 and a perfect 3-0 in conference. Longtime head coach Miguel Lozano just secured his 200th career victory in a win over Franciscan.
AMCC Player of the Week and two-time all-conference selection midfielder Vanessa Ceravolo leads the Redhawks' offense. She is coming off a week where she scored four goals and added an assist in two conference games. She currently ranks third in the AMCC with nine goals and 21 points. Freshmen forwards Allesandra Perri and Amanda Ceravolo combine to form a potent attack. Perri is tied for the conference lead with seven assists while A. Ceravolo adds four goals. Newcomer Morgan Bullock has scored two game-winning goals. Senior captain and four-year starter Chloe McGinnis leads the Redhawks' backline.
The Hawks are led by a core group of seniors who have battled their way to the front of the conference in their final year. Seniors Jackie Morgan, Courtney Vaccaro and Imarie Waller have driven the team since their freshman year while third-year senior Jennifer Colvin and second-year senior Shannon Rogers add to the strong leadership crew. Colvin is an offensive threat anytime she faces the net having scored nine goals with five game-winners that place her #2 in Division III ranks. Morgan sits in a three-way tie for second in AMCC with six assists (2 g) and Vaccaro is ranked #12 in AMCC in shots. Rogers is 7th in the AMCC in points, having scored six goals and four assists. Waller moved to defense her final year and is part of the steller back-four who have worked with junior Jenna Castricone (1.18 goals against ave) to earn six shutouts this season. It is fitting that these seniors can shine on Senior Day in the AMCC Game of the Week.
