AMCC WOMEN'S SOCCER GAME OF THE WEEK: FRANCISCAN AT MOUNT ALOYSIUS

The AMCC women's soccer game of the week features two teams battling it out for one of the top seeds in the conference as we approach the midway point in conference play. Mount Aloysius College sits in second place with a 3-1 conference record, while Franciscan University is tied for third place with a 3-2 mark.
The Franciscan women's soccer team is currently 3-2 in the AMCC after defeating Pitt-Bradford on Saturday in OT for the first time since 2008. The Lady Barons are led by senior Megan Luiso with four goals while junior Elizabeth Dawyot and sophomore Kelsey Scott-Avery each have seven points (3 goals, 1 assist). Sophomore Katie Kilian and junior Sarah Luebking have provided a pair of goals each, as well. Luebking is also having a great season in goal for the Lady Barons. The junior currently has a 1.62 GAA and 31 saves on the year. Luebking boasts a 4-5 record this year, including a 3-2 slate in the AMCC. As a team, the Lady Barons have scored 17 goals and have a .526 shot on goal percentage.
The Mount Aloysius women's soccer team enters Tuesday contest against Franciscan sporting an overall record of 8-4-1, including a 3-1 mark in conference play after defeating D'Youville by a 6-3 margin on Saturday. The Mounties have been led offensively by junior forward Cheyenne Kuncher, who has scored eight goals including a hat trick in the win over the Spartans. Sophomore midfielder Sam Torrenti leads the Mounties with eight assists, which leads all players in the AMCC. Sophomore Katie Mirance has contributed six goals and three assists, while junior midfielder Jordan Gebhart has netted five goals in the last six games. Junior goalkeeper Leanne Cardoso-Bastos ranks second in the AMCC with a 1.03 goals against average, and the backline has been led by sophomore Summer Schell and freshman Leah Frerichs.
