Five AMCC men's and women's soccer teams were honored recently for their work in the classroom as each program earned the United Soccer Coaches 2016-2017 College Team Academic Award.

Five AMCC men's and women's soccer teams were honored recently for their work in the classroom as each program earned the United Soccer Coaches 2016-2017 College Team Academic Award. The teams honored include Mount Aloysius College men and women, Penn State Behrend men and women, and the Pitt-Bradford women.

A total of 824 soccer teams (286 men, 538 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 academic year. Of that total, 202 schools in the entire country had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
