MOUNT ALOYSIUS WOMEN'S SOCCER REMAINS EIGHTH IN GREAT LAKES REGION
The Mount Aloysius College women's soccer program received recognition on Tuesday afternoon by the United Soccer Coaches as they once again appeared in the Great Lakes Regional Rankings.
The Mount Aloysius College women's soccer program received recognition on Tuesday afternoon by the United Soccer Coaches as they once again appeared in the Great Lakes Regional Rankings.
The Mountie women appeared in the top-10 of the rankings for the fourth consecutive week. Mount Aloysius appears in the #8 spot for the third week in a row as the Mounties currently have a 9-0-1 record while outscoring their opponents 27 to 9. Cheyenne Kuncher has led the Mounties offensively with 8 goals, which ranks her third in the AMCC, and two assists. Jordan Gebhart has contributed four goals and two assists while Kourtney Walls has registered four goals and one assist. Brianna Byler is tied for the AMCC lead with four assists, and goalkeeper Lauren Davey has recorded five shutouts with the help of a strong Mountie backline.
On the men's side, Mount Aloysius and Pennn State Behrend each received votes.
