The AMCC Women's Soccer Game of the Week features Penn State Altoona at Mount Aloysius College, two teams that are tied for third place as we enter the final regular season game of the year. Both teams enter the game with 5-2 conference marks.
Penn State Altoona is looking to bounce back after dropping their last two games, including a 1-0 decision against Pitt-Greensburg last Wednesday. The Lions are led by sophomore F/M Mallorie Smith's eight goals and seven assists on the season, as her seven assists are tied for tops in the league. Senior F/M Sadie McConnell is right behind her with six goals and six assists. Sophomore GK Jadyn Michael ranks fifth in the AMCC with a .775 save percentage, while her nine goals against are fourth.
Mount Aloysius has won three straight, including a 5-0 victory over Medaille on Saturday. Mountie junior F Kourtney Walls ranks fifth in the conference with 10 goals and is tied for first with seven assists. Junior GK Lauren Davey ranks second in the conference with an .845 save percentage and is third with 98 saves. The Mounties 31 goals and 27 assists as a team puts them third in the league in both categories.
