HANNAH CALLAGHAN NAMED HILBERT WOMEN'S SOCCER HEAD COACH
Hilbert College athletics and athletic director Tim Seil are excited to announce Hannah Callaghan as the next head women's soccer coach.
Callaghan comes to Hamburg after previously gaining valuable coaching experience with the University at Buffalo (2025) and WNY Flash Academy (2023-25).
The Rochester, NY native spent last season as an assistant women's soccer coach at UB, where she enjoyed a standout five-year career as a defender. Callaghan was responsible for all team logistics with the Bulls (team travel, meals, hotel stays, bus company communication). She helped guide the Bulls to a 12-5-2 record (8-3-1 in the MAC) and played a key role in leading five student-athletes to All-Conference teams.
Since November 2023, Callaghan has overseen two youth teams with the Western New York Flash where she ran trainings twice a week and scheduled all games and tournaments.
As a player and team captain for the Bulls, Callaghan was recognized as a First-Team All-Conference performer twice (2021 & 2022), a Third-Team All-American (2022) and was recognized in the 2022 Top Drawer Soccer Top 100. Callaghan led the Bulls to the 2022 MAC Championship and was named the 2021 MAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Since her graduation from UB in 2022, Callaghan has worked as an Account Recruiting Manager at Aerotek Staffing and Recruiting where she was responsible for the recruitment of construction contractors through the NYS area including but not limited to Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany.
