BEHREND WOMEN'S SOCCER FACES CALVIN IN NCAA FIRST ROUND
The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to take on the hosts Calvin University Knights (14-4) in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday. Time of the contest is to be determined.
The Lions (15-3-2) are making their 14th appearance in the tournament, earning the automatic bid and winning their 18th AMCC title after defeating Pitt-Greensburg 7-0 on Saturday.
Calvin won its fourth straight MIAA Tournament this past weekend, defeating Hope 2-1 on Saturday. The win marked head coach Emily Ottenhoff's 100th career win with the Knights.
Illinois Tech (19-1-1) will face Grove City (13-4-2) in the other first-round game with the winners of each match facing off on Saturday.
Behrend and Calvin are squaring off for the first time in the NCAA First Round.
