Megan Dulniak, D'Youville College, Defensive Player of the Week
Dulniak had an impressive start to the beginning of her 2016 season. Coming off a 2015 campaign that saw her named as an AMCC Third Team All-Conference selection as a freshman, Dulniak recorded back-to-back shutouts this weekend making nine total saves as the Spartans captured the Potsdam Tournament crown. Dulniak played a total of 180 minutes with nine total saves and two wins.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend D Rachel Weyand played solid defense to help the Lions finish runner up at the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament, while also scoring the first goal of the season for Behrend, bending a corner kick in to help defeat Wooster...Hilbert GK Jenna Castricone registered her first shutout of the season with a 1-0 win over Cazenovia in the SUNY POLY Classic tournament this past weekend...Mount Aloysius D/M Summer Schell got the Mounties off to a strong start to their season as Mount Aloysius won two games over the weekend, her strong play at center back helped limit the Mount's two opponents to two total goals.
