BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan GK Marita Ostrich led the Lady Barons to a 2-0 week, including a shutout to open AMCC play, she made five saves for the week including four against Alfred State and allowed just one goal on the week...PS-Altoona GK Kaitlyn Harmon had a solid week in goal for the Lady Lions, going 1-1 in two starts while limiting the opposition to three goals in two games, as she posted a 1.50 goals against average and a save percentage of 84.2% while recording 16 stops...Pitt-Greensburg D Brooke Ianarelli started both games on defense for Pitt-Greensburg this past week, helping to anchor a defensive unit that did not allow a goal and allowed just 11 shots, eight of which were on goal...PS-Behrend D Angela Belack helped defend the Mounties to keep them scoreless through two overtime periods, as she contributed in holding the Mounties to just eight total shots in 110 minutes, while also recording two shots from her defensive position...Medaille GK Rebecca Leon was strong in net for Medaille in their AMCC opener on Saturday, as the freshman keeper faced a barrage of shots from La Roche and was masterful, stopping all 11 shots-on-goal and helping the Mavs claim their first AMCC win of 2019, beating the Red Hawks 2-1...D'Youville D Isabella Lucania had a strong weekend for the Spartans, helping the team earn their first conference victory of the season as she scored her first goal of the season, which turned out to be the game winner; defensively, she helped limit Altoona to just six shots on goal....La Roche GK Isabelle Orange has played extremely efficient as of late, as Orange was only responsible for one of the four goals the Redhawks surrended this past week, she has also made 16 saves while only allowing three goals in her last 360 minutes of play-time...Alfred State GK Gretchen Hendrickson was thrust into her first collegiate start after an injury in warm-ups, making 12 saves in a 1-0 loss to Franciscan.
