The Alfred State College and Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving teams have been named Division III Fall Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced on Monday.
The Alfred State College and Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving teams have been named Division III Fall Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced on Monday.
The CSCAA has named 781 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Fall 2024 semester. The teams represent 459 institutions. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
Alfred State head coach Zach Healy led his team of 15 women to a 3.52 GPA, while Behrend head coach Jen Wallace guided a team of 19 women to a 3.36 GPA.
