Sarah Petry, Penn State Altoona, Women's Swimming
Petry had two individual first places and was part of one relay first place to help the Lions defeat W&J on the road Friday night in Penn State Altoona's season opener. She placed first in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:09.76, and she later won the 500 Yard Freestyle after clocking in at 5:50.59. She was also part of the Lions' first-place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, in which Petry and her teammates combined for a time of 1:52.23.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend FR Logan Wilson swam the two distances races, touching first in the 1000 free (11:29.46) and then the 500 free (5:36.31). Her 1000 free is in the Top 10 times and is also in the Freshman Top 10 times...Alfred State JR Emma Merrick won the 200 breast with a time of 2:39.17, she followed with a win in the 200 IM after touching the wall in 2:25.64. Merrick then notched a second-place finish in the 100 breast after touching the wall in 1:12.89...Pitt-Bradford FR Skyler Bland won two races in her collegiate debut for Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. She began with a win in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:28.10, 13 seconds ahead of the field. She also won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:08.72.
